Powder coated piano hinges

pulverbeschichtet3Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free flowing, dry powder.

The main difference between conventional liquid painted and powder coated continuous piano hinges is that the powder coating does create a hard finish that is toughter than conventional paint. This conditioning is to protect the hinges against rust and provides an attractive apperance over years.

The coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin" what ensures a uniform surface.

Powder coating is used for coating of technical and decorative metal hinges, such as steel, zinc plated and aluminium hinges.

Of course we can supply to you any RAL colours ranging from black or white coated piano hinges to green or red. As speciality you can get your individual mixed color as per your own specifications.

Please note that we only powder hinges with a material thickness of 2 and 3 mm.
